RiverWise Therapy provides nature-based mental health services including one-on-one counseling, support groups, training, and public and private guided nature walks in the style of "forest bathing."

Appointments are available near Albuquerque and Santa Fe, NM.

Mental health counseling sessions are Walk-and-Talk style, using CBT and DBT principles in combination with nature-based mindfulness.1 hour minimum, self pay (no insurance) starting at $60.

Forest bathing walks for individuals or groups up to 20 people,1.5 hours minimum to 4 hours maximum, $90 - $240. Public walks offered monthly for $8 per person, see "upcoming events" on this site.

Meet Your Guide

Talia Sledge is certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, and is a licensed master social worker in New Mexico, USA. Talia has over 20 years of experience as an environmental educator and social services provider. At RiverWise Therapy, Talia offers guided walks in the beautiful natural surroundings of urban and rural Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her specialty is providing a slow and mindful experience of connection with the natural world. This approach is similar to Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku), a Japanese health practice. Come experience the healing power of nature.
