
Thank You Walk for Social Workers, Dec. 14, 11:30am - 1:30pm
This mid-day experience is designed to introduce fellow social workers to the practice and benefits of forest bathing. Fun and gentle guided mindfulness experiences are combined with slow walking/wandering and opportunities for deepening connection to nature. The location is Corrales, NM, exact directions provided upon registration. Ability to walk over uneven terrain and small inclines is necessary.
Registration is required, more information provided at time of registration.
This walk is a free offering for people working in any field of social work. Please leave pets at home.

Riverside Moon Walks
Thursday, December 4: 6pm - 8pm.​​​

These night walks meet in the Albuquerque North Valley at Campbell Road NW. The walk is about one mile in distance, is very slow, and goes to the banks of the Rio Grande river and back. There are opportunities to sit on benches, logs, and the ground with sitting mats provided. Hand warmers, blankets, and hot tea provided. Please dress appropriately for cold weather.
Registration is required. $8 per person,
recommended for ages 10 and older.

Sunset Strolls:
Green Friday, November 28

Stroll the acequia trails in the Albuquerque north valley under tall elm trees during "golden hour." Experience the awe of nature's beauty while the sun sets over the fields of the Candelaria Nature Preserve. Winter walks are very likely to include Sandhill Crane sightings.
